Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to MapleLeHub! These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our services, programs, and offerings in the field of professional development education. By enrolling in a course or using our services, you agree to these conditions and commit to fully complying with them.
2. Service Eligibility
2.1. Client Information – Our services are primarily directed at seniors and their family members. When scheduling an appointment, we request information about your current situation and legal needs to ensure we can provide appropriate assistance.
2.2. Registration – For our services, prior registration and confirmation by MapleLeHub is required. You are obligated to provide correct and current information.
2.3. Conduct Guidelines – In our consultations and interactions, we expect professional behavior. Any form of discrimination, disruptive behavior, or inappropriate communication may result in termination of services.
2.4. Confidentiality – Clients agree to maintain the confidentiality of personal and legal information shared during our consultations.
3. Appointment Booking and Payment
3.1. Service Bookings – Bookings can be made through our website, by telephone, or in person and are binding after our written confirmation.
3.2. Payment Terms – Service fees are due within 14 days after invoicing. We accept bank transfers and major credit cards.
3.3. Organization Invoices – For bookings by organizations for their members or residents, separate payment terms may be arranged, which are specified in the respective contract.
3.4. Cancellation Conditions – For cancellations up to 48 hours before a scheduled appointment, no fee will be charged. For cancellations within 48 hours, 50% of the fee will be retained. For no-shows, the full fee applies.
4. Service Delivery and Changes
4.1. Service Planning and Execution –
- MapleLeHub reserves the right to change service content, times, and legal professionals.
- In case of unavailability of specific legal expertise, a consultation may be rescheduled.
- Changes to appointments will be communicated to clients as early as possible.
4.2. Service Materials – All legal documents, presentations, and digital materials are the intellectual property of MapleLeHub or our legal professionals. The materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
5. Special Consultations and Home Visits
5.1. Registration – For specialized legal consultations and home visits, separate registration conditions apply, which are communicated before booking and are binding.
5.2. Cancellation Conditions – Cancellations for these exclusive formats must be made at least 72 hours in advance to receive a partial refund. For later cancellations, 75% of the fee will be retained.
5.3. Client Selection – For certain specialized legal services, we reserve the right to select clients based on criteria such as legal needs, urgency, and geographical location to ensure optimal service provision.
6. Liability Disclaimer and Warranty
6.1. Liability – MapleLeHub is only liable in cases of intent or gross negligence on the part of our employees or legal professionals. We assume no liability for the practical implementation of the legal advice by clients in their personal matters.
6.2. Personal Responsibility – Clients are responsible for implementing the legal concepts and methods conveyed in their personal situation. Application occurs at their own risk and considering their specific circumstances.
7. Property and Premises
7.1. Use of Premises – Consultation rooms and facilities are to be treated with care. The causer is liable for willful damage.
7.2. Valuables – We assume no liability for personal items and valuables left in our premises. Lockable storage options are available.
8. Data Protection
8.1. Data Processing – The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our separate Privacy Policy, which is considered an essential part of these Terms and Conditions and should be read carefully.
8.2. Photo and Video Material – At selected events, image and video material may be created for documentation and marketing purposes. Clients can object to the use of their image at any time.
9. Refund Policy
9.1. Course Satisfaction – At MapleLeHub, we are committed to providing high-quality professional development courses. If you are not completely satisfied with the course or training received, please notify us within 14 days of the course commencement.
9.2. Refund Eligibility – Refunds or course credits may be issued at our discretion if:
- The course content substantially differed from what was advertised or described in the course outline
- Technical issues on our platform prevented you from accessing the course materials for more than 24 consecutive hours
- The course was canceled or rescheduled by MapleLeHub to a date/time you cannot attend
9.3. Refund Process – To request a refund or course adjustment, please contact our client success team in writing with details of your concerns. We will review each case individually and respond within 5 business days.
9.4. Limitations – Please note that refunds may not be available for:
- Requests made after completing more than 30% of the course content
- Bundled or discounted course packages
- Requests made more than 14 days after the course start date
9.5. Alternative Resolution – In some cases, we may offer additional course materials, a different instructor, course transfer, or course credit instead of a full refund, depending on the nature of the concern.
10. Final Provisions
10.1. Severability Clause – Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
10.2. Applicable Law – These Terms and Conditions are subject to Canadian law. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is the registered office of MapleLeHub, to the extent legally permissible.
